Now under new ownership & management, Barry and Donna Bell of Along the River RV Park, Campground and Cabins welcome you. Whether you are a first-time camper with us or have been here before, Along the River has a campsite for you. We offer more than a place to stay, we present a delightful and memorable experience. Some of the nearby attractions include Ski Apache, the Smokey Bear National Park and Museum in Capitan, fishing on Lake Bonito, and hiking in the Lincoln National Forest. Also close by is the Valley of Fires Recreation Area near Carrizozo, Three Rivers Petroglyph Site near Tularosa, the Lodge Resort at Cloudcroft, and the town of Lincoln which is famous for the Lincoln County War and is the historical home of Billy the Kid. The White Sands National Monument and the New Mexico Museum of Space History are in nearby Alamogordo. And, we can't forget Ruidoso which has something for everyone whether it be restaurants, casinos, horse racing (when in season), golf, shopping, and concerts. After enjoying some of the nearby attractions of this beautiful area, you may want to just relax in the park enjoying awesome mountain views, wildlife, and star studded nights by your campfire away from the hustle and bustle of town. We are one of the few parks in the Ruidoso area that is open year round. So, give us a call and come see us soon.
